FJORD CRUICE
Nothing is more pleasant than spending a summer day at sea. Awaken your senses with a fjord cruise on the fjord and its surroundings. Feel the wind in your hair while you discover the best of Norwegian nature. We aim to finish our tour during sunset.
We sail our recommended routes in the Bjørnafjorden area, but are happy to adjust these to your preferences. Our tours take between 3 to 6 hours. We take up to 6 persons on our boat tours, thus ensuring both your safety and an individual and genuine experience.
Discover a part of Norway
During a guided boat tour you will discover Norwegian fauna and flora – and maybe even get to see porpoises living in the fjord. We will drive past a fish farm which you will be able to see from up close. We will show you a lot that is “typical Norwegian”!
Bjørnafjorden is exposed to the capricious weather at the Western coast of Norway and can at times experience rough sea. Under these weather conditions, we will use routes allowing us to be at sea nonetheless but it is totally up to you if you want to give it a try or not. As an alternative, you can comfortably snug into our boat or gaze at the weather through our boat house windows.
From the boat you will be able to see the picturesque villa once belonging to composer Ole Bull and built around 1873 on the island Lysøen. This villa is open for the public during summer, and has remained unchanged since the composer’s death in 1880.

Join a boat trip with Bjørnafjorden Experiences for a slightly different experience. We love to do a little extra for our participants. Combine with fishing trip or scuba diving / snorkeling for a full day of new impressions for the whole family or group of friends.
During your fjord cruise, we are your local guide and can tell you a lot about the sea and the local surroundings. We have a big focus on your safety, and every passenger will of course be equipped with a safety vest.
